Caring for wildlife takes a LOT of work, and as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we receive no payment from the government and have no paid employees. That means that to keep the center up and running, we rely 100% on donations, grants, and our phenomenal team of volunteers. As each year passes and Featherhaven becomes more well-known, we have an increasingly greater number of birds to care for.
